How to Play the Diwali Bumper
Playing the Diwali Bumper is simple. Pick six main numbers from 1 to 50 plus one Joker Ball number from 1 to 5. The Diwali Bumper is just the same as a regular Lotto India draw, except that you have the chance to win a 10 times larger jackpot. Just follow the steps below to get your ticket:
Simply pick six main ball numbers from 1 to 50, and one Joker Ball number from 1 to 5. The Joker Ball is drawn from a different set of numbers to the main six, so it's okay to choose the same number twice on one line. You can pick your own favourite numbers, or if you'd like a random selection, visit the lucky numbers page to generate a Quick Pick set.
You can enter the Diwali Bumper more than once with different numbers, increasing your chances of winning. Just choose a different set of numbers for each panel; one panel equals one entry. In fact, entering multiple times is the only way to enhance your odds of winning. You can enter up to eight times on each transaction, but overall you can purchase as many entries as you like.
When you’ve chosen all your numbers, hit the ’Add To Cart’ button and check your selections, then purchase your entries. Each play costs ₹40 and you need to buy before the cut-off time of 12:00am IST on January 1st, 0001 or you'll miss out on entering the Diwali Bumper next year.
Once you've purchased your tickets, you can put your feet up and relax with your numbers safely stored in your online account. The draw takes place at 12:00am IST and the winning numbers will be posted to the Diwali Bumper Results page shortly afterwards. There's no need to check the results, however - your numbers will be checked automatically and you'll get an email if you've won.
Additional Rules
The Diwali Bumper is an online-only lottery draw; tickets cannot be purchased in stores, so you'll need to create an online account to play, if you don't already have one. Setting up an account is simple and free; just follow the steps and remember to verify your email address to complete your registration.
You must be at least 18 years old to play the Diwali Bumper. Any prizes won may be forfeited if you are not legally eligible to participate. Diwali-Bumper.com and its partners can limit or refuse entries to anyone at their discretion without giving notice or reason.
You may not enter the draw from some countries - check the Where to Play page for a list of places where it is not possible to play.
How to Win the Diwali Bumper
Win a prize if your numbers match the winning numbers drawn. The more numbers you match, the more you win. You'll need to match all seven to win the jackpot, but you can win by matching fewer numbers. For example, you can match just the Joker Ball to win a Free Bet Bonus, so the overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 3. Go to the Prizes page for more information about all the ways to win.
How to Claim Prizes
It's very easy to claim a prize won in the Diwali Bumper. The lottery is online-only, so any payout will simply be credited to your secure web account. There's no paper ticket to hold on to and, for non-jackpot wins, no claims process.
If you're the lucky winner of the ₹40 Crore jackpot, a customer support representative will contact you directly by phone to walk you through the steps to claim - so make sure you enter the correct phone number on your online account.
Claiming the top prize is very straightforward, but for security you will need to present documents proving your age and address in order to verify your identity. After verification checks, which can take four weeks, the funds will be wired to your bank account.
